 Fee Measures
    Implementing Regulations
    Compulsory campus-based fees may be established, eliminated, or modified in an election in which a majority (50% + 1) of a minimum voting pool of twenty five percent (25%) of the overall affected student body (according to official third week enrollment figures) votes to approve or to modify the fee. The imposition of a compulsory fee passed by referendum is subject to concurrence of the Chancellor and approval of the President.

    Measure 33 Only / Graduate Students For Compulsory campus-based fees that are addressed to graduate students only, approval of the referendum will be determined by a majority (50% + 1) of a minimum voting pool of fifteen percent (15%) of graduate students (according to official third week enrollment figures).

    Abstentions will not count toward the establishment of minimum voting pool requirements. The establishment of the minimum voting pool will be determined on an individual basis for each measure on the ballot (i.e. the sum of "yes" and "no" votes on each individual measure must equal or exceed the minimum voting pool required).

 Measure 30 (U): Learning Support Services Sustainability Fee

    MEASURE 30 QUESTION

    Shall the undergraduate students of UCSC provide funding for Learning Support Services including Subject Tutoring and Modified Supplemental Instruction (with the exception of non-Educational Outreach Program Frosh Core Writing Tutoring) by establishing a new permanent fee of $6.64 per student per quarter?

 Measure 31 (U, G): Athletics Funding Measure

    MEASURE 31 QUESTION

    Shall the undergraduate and graduate students of UCSC provide programming funding for Intercollegiate Athletic Sport Team, which will expand the athletic department training room hours, support athletic team allocations, travel, equipment, game management, student workers, membership fees, salaries for administrative staff and coaches by establishing a new permanent fee of $5.00 per student per quarter?

 Measure 32 (U, G): Physical Education Program

    MEASURE 32 QUESTION

    Shall the undergraduate and graduate students of UCSC provide funding for a variety of physical education programs such as new class offerings, educational outreach at Colleges, equipment replacement and equity increases, by establishing a new permanent fee of $4.50 per student per quarter?

 Measure 33 (G): Graduate Student Government Fee Increase

    MEASURE 33 QUESTION

    Shall the graduate students of UCSC maintain existing levels of service offered by the Graduate Student Association (GSA), including research travel grants, statewide lobbying efforts, and networking activities annually sponsored by the GSA, by increasing the existing Graduate Student Government Fee of $10.00 by $4.50 per student, per quarter?

    According to the existing Student Union Assembly constitution, officers are elected to a one-year term by popular vote. There is no minimum voting pool requirement.

 Opinion Poll
    As opinion polls are non-binding, there is no minimum voting requirement. The following opinion poll questions were placed on the ballot by resolution of the Student Union Assembly (SUA).
